Electronic device for converting a serial communication line from the RS232C to the RS485 (Half duplex) standard with automatic handling of the data flow or from the RS232C and RS422 (Full duplex) standard. This device allows for connecting equipment with an RS232C serial line to components equipped with an RS485 or RS422 serial interface. This extends the typical 15-m transmission distance of the RS232 standard .
